This is part one of our Lost in the Midlands interview with Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) Lamont Christian, who is the Director of the Warrior PATHH program at the Big Red Barn Retreat. He is a former Commandant of the United States Army Drill Sergeant Academy and member of the Drill Sergeant Hall Of Fame. Known as “America’s Drill Sergeant”, he is now focused on nation’s first non-clinical program designed to cultivate and facilitate Posttraumatic Growth amongst those struggling with PTSD and/or combat stress. Warrior PATHH enables these remarkable men and women to transform times of deep struggle into profound strength and growth. This 18-month program begins with a 7-day retreat, initiating students into the Warrior PATHH. In part one he speaks about joining the military, coping with the loss of his daughter and his journey to the Warrior PATHH. This is his story; we hope you enjoy watching.
